OVERVIEW
Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included.
BENEFITS
A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility and boosted energy.
POTETNTIAL DOWNSIDES
There is not much of downsides towards it, but if you are a weight lifter then this type fitness is not for you.

Love it! It's a super fun way to get an hour's high intensity cardio, and unlike some other forms of exercise you don't notice the time going.
