Eyebrow Threading Treatment PROVIDERS NEAR YOU

Eyebrow Threading Treatment

OVERVIEW
This is a procedure that removes eyebrow hair through the manipulation of threads. It is an ancient technique from India.

Short lines of hair are removed by a pair of threads crossed over each other and twisted and rolled at angles to the face. It allows for closer definition and shaping than plucking. If done expertly the pain level is low.

WHAT TO EXPECT
A discussion about the amount of hair to be removed and the shape desired should precede any threading session. Then expect to sit in a tilted chair and the therapist to stand over you. An over-the-counter painkiller can be taken before the appointment if desired, to help minimise the pain.

BENEFITS
Well-defined and well-shaped eyebrows.

POTENTIAL DOWNSIDES
It can be painful.

It is painful, but very effective. My practitioner asked if I would like my upper lip done as well....now that was painful! and I really did have a pain in my face following the treatment. But I looked great!

I have super bushy eyebrows which take an age to pluck with tweezers, so threading is perfect for me. It can be painful (I think it depends on when you have it done, as sometimes it's not painful at all and other times it is), but it's much quicker than regular shaping so the pain lasts for less time and the results are great!

Ever since I started getting my eyebrows threaded I've never gone back to tweezers! People comment on how nice they look and the effect lasts up to three weeks! To be honest I don't find it very painful at all, but for some reason it always makes me sneeze... I would totally say it's worth it!
